Frequently asked questions.
PLEASE NOTE: I am currently on maternity leave until summer 2026 and am not accepting new clients at this time. I will update this website when I have more information about timing of my return.
What are your hours/when do you see clients?
My clients are seen on weekday morning, mid morning, and afternoons.
Do you accept insurance? What are your self pay rates?
I accept Anthem, United Healthcare, UHC, Optum, Connecticare, Oxford, Cigna and Aetna insurance plans. Please call or email to discuss self pay rates.
Do you offer telehealth/telemedicine?
Yes - my practice is solely telehealth/telemedicine.
What states are you licensed in?
Connecticut and Florida.
What should I expect from therapy?
Therapy is an individualized process and I curate the work we do to your specific needs. However, some common things people will experience are connection, understanding, personal change, and management of mental health symptoms and stress.
How long will therapy last?
This is also dependent on many factors - including your presenting concerns, and unfortunately is dictated at times by insurance coverage. A plan will be made within our first two sessions - and this will be continuously reviewed so there are no surprises and we can work collaboratively together.
What is your educational background?
I graduated from both my Undergraduate and Graduate programs from the University of Connecticut (GO HUSKIES!) and hold a Masters in Social Work degree (MSW). I received my License in Social Work in 2014, and my License in Clinical Social Work in 2015. Although I may not return to “formal” schooling, I am continuously learning and have Level 1 certification from the IFS Institute and completed advanced training in perinatal mental health in 2024.
